At EduMux, we are committed to delivering transparent, ethical, and student-centered services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which a refund may be granted for any services or programs purchased via our platform or partners.
This policy applies to all services, including but not limited to:
- Admissions consultation
- Documentation support (SOP, CV, LOR, etc.)
- Application processing
- Visa and residence permit assistance
- Test preparation
- Online and in-person courses
- Bundled or package services
1. General Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are only available if:
- The service has not been initiated; AND
- The request is made within 7 days of payment; AND
- The terms below are satisfied.

2. Refund Request Time Limits

3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Outcomes not meeting personal expectations (e.g., rejection of admission or visa)
- Delays or outcomes caused by student inaction, missing documents, or missed deadlines
- Change of mind after the service is initiated
- Training, webinars, or coaching once accessed or joined
- Missed consultations or sessions without timely notice
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, political events, etc.)
4. Alternatives to Refund
Where appropriate and mutually agreed, EduMux may offer:
- Credit toward other services
- Transfer of service to another applicant (in case of family/spouse/student switch)
- Service postponement (valid for 6 months)
These options are case-dependent and must be requested in writing.
5. Refund Processing Details
- All refund requests must be sent to billing@edumux.fi
- Include the payment receipt, reason, and details of service stage
- Refunds are subject to approval and reviewed within 5 business days
- Approved refunds will be processed in 10–15 working days
- Refunds will be returned to the original payment method
- Processing fees (2–4%) charged by payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) are non-refundable
6. Fraud Prevention & Dispute Policy
EduMux reserves the right to:
- Refuse refunds in case of suspected fraud or misuse of services
- Suspend access to services during refund investigation
- Engage payment processors or legal authorities if chargebacks are filed with false claims
We maintain detailed logs, IP tracking, and time stamps to ensure transparent dispute handling.
7. Modifications to This Policy
EduMux may update this Refund Policy at any time to reflect changes in services or regulatory requirements. All updates will be posted on our website and are effective from the date of publication.
